About the role
Are you passionate about supporting adults with complex needs? Join our team as a Community Support Worker to help us achieve the delivery of a flexible, high quality service.
The Community Support Service delivers valuable care and support to people across the island, enabling them to maintain their independence in their own home. You’ll contribute to this commitment by supporting service users with a variety of complex needs such as Stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia and Mental Health diagnoses, enabling them to live independently for longer.
Some of your day-to-day duties will include ensuring that the well-being and personal care needs of individuals are met, including personal hygiene, food preparation and medication, as well as assisting with other tasks of daily living, which may include shopping and paying bills.

Things to note
An enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which the Isle of Man Government will cover the cost of for you.
Early shifts start from approximately 8am and late shifts start at variable times depending on your contracted hours. The Service runs until 10pm and shifts are scheduled in advance.
Please note a relocation package is not available for this role.
